The NYS Drinking Driver Program (DDP)
Alcohol & Drug Rehabilitation Program
Queens College of the City University of New York

To receive a conditional license or conditional driving privilege,
you must participate in the Drinking Driver Program

Queens College is proud to be the sponsor of the Borough of Queens oldest and most respected NYS Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Program. Since 1975, the Program has offered motorists, convicted of alcohol and other drug-related driving offenses, the opportunity to regain their driving privileges. Like all programs at Queens College, the Drinking Driver Program is offered by expert and compassionate instructors, at convenient times, and at an affordable price.

As a participant in the Program, you will be assisted in examining the reasons for your arrest, discuss the social, medical, legal and driver safety consequences of alcohol and/or other drug use while operating a motor vehicle and learn to make more appropriate driving decisions in the future.

The Program is not intended to convince you not to drink. Drinking alcohol is legal in New York State for those over the age of 21. What is not legal, is driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or other drug. It is not only illegal, but it threatens the health and safety of others and cannot be tolerated. The staff is dedicated to preserving your life and the lives of other motorists, passengers and pedestrians. We are available to offer you whatever assistance you need in regaining your driving privileges and/or completing your obligations to the court.

Dedicated to highway and traffic safety for every citizen
