IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have previously registered at Queens College Continuing Education or CUNY on the Concourse you must register as a RETURNING student, NOT as a NEW student. To register as a returning student, you will need your Student I.D. The Student I.D. is listed at the upper right hand corner of your registration receipt. If you do not know your Student I.D., call the office at (718)997-5700 or e-mail: CEP@qc.edu to obtain your Student I.D. Please include your full name (as listed on your receipt) and last 4 digits of the social security number in the e-mail. ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE STUDENT: Students registering for ES601, ES602, ES201, ES401, ES501 MUST TAKE A PLACEMENT EXAM. TO FIND OUT THE DATE, TIME AND LOCATION OF THE EXAM: 1. REGISTER FOR THE COURSE YOU WISH TO TAKE ONLINE. 2. CALL THE ESL OFFICE AT (718)997-5712 FOR THE TESTING INFORMATION FOR THAT COURSE. RETURNING ESL STUDENTS SHOULD NOT REGISTER ONLINE. PLEASE CALL THE ESL OFFICE AT (7 18)997-5712 OR VISIT US IN KIELY HALL ROOM 111 WITH YOUR BLUE CARD. REFUND POLICY: Application for refunds must be made in writing. Your original receipt must be accompanied by your application for refund. You can email, fax or mail in your request for a refund. Email: cep@qc.edu Fax: 718-997-5723. Refund requests by telephone are not accepted. Refunds are calculated from the date we receive your written request. Three days prior to the first meeting: 90% of tuition, before the second class 75% of tuition. Thereafter no refunds will be granted for any reason. Registration, application and material fees are not refundable. Processing of refunds requires four to six weeks. Non attendance of class(es) does not exclude the student from the rules of the policy. CHANGES IN PROGRAMS: The Continuing Education Program reserves the right to cancel, to make substitutions in faculty, and to change days, times and locations of classes if necessary. We will make every effort to provide you with the correct information. HOW DO I FIND MY ROOM?: If a room assignment is not shown on your confirmation, please call the office 718-997-5704 at least one day prior to scheduled class start. |
